Good hair. Good mood. Good day.

We highly recommend purchasing a filter to attach to your shower head at home. Hard water and mineral build up can lead to accelerated fading, dry or brittle hair, brassy color, interactions with salon services, and other less desirable hair outcomes. We prefer the brand Sprite, which can be found at local hardware stores!

Salt water, chlorine and sun exposure will accelerate color fading and may also interact with chemical processing in the salon. Ask about Malibu C at home treatments to prepare your hair before an appointment!

Using purple shampoo? Overuse can lead to lackluster color and dry ends. Limit use to once per week, at most, and consider scheduling a toner/glaze to refresh your strands in between regular color appointments.

Looking to grow your hair? Regular trims are a must! Refresh your ends by scheduling haircuts every 8-10 weeks. Going longer will eventually lead to thin, broken or split ends.

Sleep on a silk pillowcase to minimize friction on the hair. Your skin will thank you too!

Wash 2-3 times per week and deep condition once per week, using only recommended hair care products. We LOVE Goldie Locks, which can be purchased online here. The use of products purchased outside of our recommendations can lead to adverse reactions during color appointments.

Clarify hair 1-2 times a month using a Malibu C Wellness Treatment. Malibu C can be purchased online here. Let us know if you need recommendations!

Minimize the use of hot tools. This includes blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, etc! We get it, we love them too, but they inevitably cause damage to the hair. If you choose to use hot tools, you must apply a heat protectant every time, even on dry hair, and keep temperatures below 350*.
